JUDGE KYLE D. BRADLEY was serving his sixth term as Justice of the Peace, Pct. 2 Atascosa County when he passed away suddenly on April 3, 2022.
He served his Country proudly for 31 years (7 years in the US Army and 24 years in the US Airforce), Obtained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (A rank only 1 percent may hold.) (JANUARY 1960---MAY 1991) He held 5 air medals and the distinguished FLYING CROSS. He flew 103 combat missions in one 140 day period setting a record for his unit. He was a life member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars. Taught regularly to the Judges and Court Clerks of our 5 County Judicial District. He served as a mentor Judge for many of his Colleagues and was among the first group of Justice(s) Of The Peace to be inducted as a Scholar in the Colleges of Judges and was inducted every year since its creation. Judge Bradley was a life member of the Texas Justice Court Judge's Association and a life member of Texas Justice of the Peace and Constable Association. He never accepted publicity for Scholarships he privately funded and used the fees from weddings and his own personal funds to purchase shoes, glasses and food, prefferring to retain the recipients dignity. He personified the quiet dignity and professionalism expected of our very best Judges every day, not just for public occasions. He was known for BRADLEY(ISMS) especially "THERE IS NO RIGHT WAY TO DO A WRONG THING."
Judge Bradley will always be an integral part of Atascosa County Precinct Two's history and will be dearly missed.
